The house is located just a few hundred yards north of the highland village of Strathyre on the A84 between Callander and Balquhidder. Behind us are the forested slopes of the hills across to Glen Ample, and facing us to the west is the local 'mountain', Bein an Sidhean with the river Balvaig meandering down the glen at its feet. Five bedrooms. One twin bedded, on ground floor, with wheelchair access and en-suite shower. Two double bedded with en-suite bath and shower. One four-poster double bedroom with en-suite bath and shower. One kingsize with en-suite bath and shower. Restaurant open for dinners only - closed every Wednesday and Thursday - by reservation only. Lunch parties by arrangement - maximum number 35 guests. We are closed on Xmas Eve, Xmas Day and Boxing Day.
