The Ben Sheann Hotel is an early Victorian Inn, which became a Hotel in 1870. The Hotel is in the heart of the highland village of Strathyre, (Bonnie), on the A84 between Callander and Lochearnhead.

Breathtaking views from the hotel, at our local Mountain, Bein an t-Sithean pronounced Ben Sheann ( Mountain of Fairies ). Loch Lubnaig (Crooked Loch ) and the river Balvaig that meanders between Loch Voil and Loch Lubnaig, both popular for salmon and trout fishing ( permits at Strathyre Village Shop).
For Hill walkers and climbers, we are located on the long distance walking route which runs from Drymen to Killiecrankie near Pitlochery.
For Cyclists the National cycle route N7 passes Strathyre on the way to Balquhidder, Lochearnhead, Glen Ogle and Killin through the Trossachs National Park .
