The 2 bedroom stone cottage faces south and is elevated within 2 acres of ornamental gardens boasting incredible scenery across the loch to Edinample Castle and the surrounding hills and forests.

The village lies within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs national park, centred at the foot of the Scottish highlands.

Briar Cottage Cruck RoomLittle Briar is a charming, detached cottage that sleeps 4. The holiday property guarantees breathtaking scenery from its elevated position, facing south over Loch Earn to Glen Ample.

Situated within two acres, the landscaped gardens feature ornamental furniture, barbeque facilities, a wooden patio and terraces.

Owners Kim and Fraser Proven live in Briar Cottage, a B listed, 17th century thatched cottage in the grounds - once owned by Macgregor's, the Duke of Breadalbane (descended from Campbell's) and Maclarens.

Little Briar guests are invited to view the cruck timber framed roof in Briar Cottage over a glass of wine. They are also welcome to picnic, barbecue and fish free of charge from the Proven's 250ft loch side garden with its summer house, picnic table, leisure swing, jetty and slipway.

Dining Facilities at the Little Briar CottageA separate driveway leads to the cottage with parking for 2 cars. There is a double and a twin bedded room. The kitchen area is compact with a glass dining table complemented by leather, tall-back chairs.

The lounge offers a modern comfy leather sofa and heated electric massage chair. Sky TV, books, games, DVD's and videos are all provided for additional entertainment.

Lochearnhead has a central position in Scotland enabling easy day trips to major cities, towns and villages in any direction. Outdoor and water sports enthusiasts will be not be disappointed with the regions offerings.

This is also a great location for anyone interested in, history, folklore, wildlife and nature, good food, fresh air, relaxation and exceptional hospitality.
