There are watersports, including waterskiing, kayaking, sailing and canoeing at nearby Lochearnhead, and several golf courses a short distance away. The setting of the golf course at St Fillans, at the eastern end of Loch Earn, is especially beautiful. The dramatic view across the glen from Fartnafuaran Farm takes in Balquhidder Kirk, with the grave of the Scottish Folk hero Rob Roy MacGregor in the kirkyard, and Kirkton Glen beyond. The small Kirkton Glen affords beautiful walks along the burn and the waterfalls hehind the chuch and a path branches off to Creag an Turic, meeting place of the clans, which commands a panoramic view of Loch Voil and the whole of Balquhidder.
