Balquhidder Summer Music   Venue: Balquhidder Church , Balquhuidder 1 Sunday 27th June Pure Brass (Brass quintet) Five brass players from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama make their debut visit to Balquhidder for a sparkling opening concert.   4 Sunday 18th July  Ursula Smith (cello) and Jordi Bitloch (piano) Ursula and Jordi are an experienced young duo who will play a variety of cello and piano music including a wonderful Beethoven cello sonata. 2 Sunday 4th July  Trio Burnsteeg Soprano Emma Versteeg is joined by her pianist husband Robin and flautist Louise Burnet for an entertaining programme with an American connection - very suitable for American Independence Day!   5 Sunday 25th July    "She loves me ...not!" A whimsical look at the unpredictability of romantic relationships between the sexes, viewed through the eyes of different periods, characters and composers. Three singers and a pianist from the RSAMD "Song Studio". 3 Sunday 11th July  "Blue Remembered Hills" A musical celebration of nature in summer. Instrumental and vocal music, for soprano, tenor and string quartet, led by experienced violinist and conductor Mark Wilson   6 Sunday 1st August  Northern Lights Wind Quintet This is another very promising and entertaining group from the RSAMD.
