Stuc a Chroin 5000 Hill Race   Venue: Strathyre; the race starts and finishes on the small field in front of the telecommunications cottage, (the ex Forestry Commission log cabin). Ceilidh in Strathyre Village Hall after the event.  Price: Entry Fee may be paid on the day   Event: Stuc a Chroin Hill race organised by the proprietor of the Kings House Hotel.  Distance of the race is 22km and a 1500m climb.  Not for the faint hearted or novices. The race is clearly flagged all the way to the summit and back supported by local volunteers and with plenty of water stations.  Volunteer marshalls always welcome.   For accommodation in Strathyre and the surrounding area see our Perthshire accommodation listings.
